I am Urja Upadhyaya, a Creative Producer and Designer based in San Francisco Bay Area. Having lived in NYC, I specialized in Film & Television Production through my experiences in the entertainment industry and acquired a double master’s degree in Media Arts and English Literature. The documentary I worked on 'Fragments of Paradise' won Golden Lion for Best Doc on Cinema (Venezia Classici Award) at Venice Film Fest and Metropolis Grand Jury Prize at DOC NYC. During my studies, I was awarded the Thesis Excellence Award for the Documentary, The Evil Eccentricity and the Scholarly Research Paper, The Lustful Tale of Femme Fatale in Cultural India. I am specializing in User Experience Design to sprinkle tech into my creativity. With my creative experiences in the creative industry and a penchant to keep learning, my current focus is to pursue a thriving career by implementing my diversely acquired skills while growing as an artistic individual.
